I got this one and I love it. Turn-key espresso, cappuccino, and latte macchiatos are what I use it for.

I'm on my second one. The first one broke after a couple of years, and the current ones have been going strong for 10+ years.
Would not hesitate to repurchase one, especially with the amount of money i saved skipping Starbucks.

Oily beans will get stuck in the hopper, but there is a hack to make it work.
I removed the finger cover and clipped the top Finger Stop Cover, which exposes the grinder, and beans will flow freely.

I had the same problem. I removed the finger cover but they still get stuck sometimes, have to move them manually. Otherwise I love this machine. Of course, I got mine for $15 from goodwill in mint condition, but I'd replace it with a new one if it breaks immediately.

I have this machine and it works great. Very easy to clean; minimal maintenance. I haven't had a single issue other than it telling me I need to empty the drip tray when I clearly don't.

It's LOUD - as all these types of machines are - but other than those two nitpicky things, this thing is a beast. Makes a great espresso and cappuccino/latte macchiato. I don't like the Americano style coffee it produces but when I want a mug of coffee, I use my Moccamaster and make a pot.

One thing: if anyone has this machine and has found any recipes that work well with it, please share! I have not been able to find anything helpful. I'd love to make a mocha or specialty latte (and I have a bunch of the syrups and things) but I can never get it quite right. I usually just put a few squirts of the Pumpkin Spice syrup in the mug and hit Latte Macchiato - and it's fine - but I feel it could be better.

Direct from DeLonghi, I signed up for their newsletter and they gave me the code JOINFAMILY10, which took another 10% off. It dropped the price to $449.
