I just got the Fire 7 HD and I can't believe how terrible it is. I thought this would be an upgrade but now you're saying it's bad too? I don't want to buy a toddler an iPad or 10 inch tablet. I feel there aren't many options with parental controls and a rugged case at this size.

I ended up getting a Motorola phone and a case. close to 7" and it's way faster and useful to the kids than this disappointment.
