For those unaware, ram prices are through the roof. A lower 6000mhz 32gb set is $200 already and only going up due to AI centers buying up all ddr5 ram.

What would be a good price used for these? I'm seeing 32gb sets for $60-$100 on marketplace.

Getting ready to buy a Ryzen 7 98003DX setup. Why would this not be a good deal? Any compatibility issues? 32gb at microcenter is $200 on sale now.

From what I've read 32gb, 2x16, 6000, CL30 is where it's at if your just doing gaming. There may be like 2 games right now that can use more. Maybe 3 or 4 if you are talking heavily modded. I only game, if this was CL30 I would bite just for overkill

6400MHz CL36 is far from high end, CL32 would be deal for this price.

Let them buy them all in that case. Eventually companies who produces the memory chips will have to start producing them normally again. Just buy what you need until the market fixes itself.

Sadly, this is the new reality. These contracts are for years and unless the AI hype dies next year, it will continue.

Before the price hike, how much is the price normally for 32 GB and 48 GB ram?
