I mean, you're not wrong. It does go on sale regularly. It's okay but the quality of the print isn't the best. The ink rubs off.

How can it rub off? It's a thermal label printer. There is no ink.

Haven't had any issues with the ink smudging. I bought this a few weeks ago - the app is neat, you can generate QR codes and use AI to create icons. For $10, I'd say it's incredible. The tape isn't waterproof, but for a $10 label maker, this thing rocks.

The coating on the paper that changes color in the presence of heat rubs off. It's still readable, but this isn't heavy duty.
