Great price for DIY home cable building. It's a pretty basic crimper but well reviewed.

I'd recommend a cable tester if you are serious about crimping your own cables, there's no better way to know if you screwed up.

Do these work with cat 5 stuff as well? I've been meaning to switch to poe cameras, and I think that's the cable I have laying around 😆

Yes this will work just fine with any Ethernet cabling. Cat5 on up

FYI:

This is a passthrough tool, which is convenient, but has a few downsides. You (generally) cannot use non-passthrough RJ45 connectors with a passthrough tool. They are also different between different manufacturers, so you'll likely have to buy your connectors from Klein, which cost (a lot) more as well according to Amazon. The cost seems to be at least 4x more for the connectors.
Also highly recommend getting a cable tester along with the tool.

Yes, any RJ45 connector crimping should work just fine with this.
