But this is the more advanced ring adapter version of it that has always retailed for $240 and is pretty awesome, even for the extra $90.

No, I purchased this exact control ring adaptor with my R5 Mk II from B&H last year for $149.

Got one, thxs! Have a few nicer EF USM primes, promised myself I wont be tempted by RF lenses.

I am fumble fingers swapping my only one adapter while outdoors, missing my shot. So this 2nd one is worth staying with a lens.

Same price at B&H photo and if you use their credit card, you get tax deducted + if you buy with camera, there is I think $40 discount using their card with Canon purchase..
