Except the g5 and s95f put out objectively better image metrics.

Nice. I still think Amazon is probably the better choice for folks with 5% cash back. I would much rather pay an extra 150 bucks to Amazon and have their generous and easy return policy until Jan 30.

why does Sony always charge more but literally downgrade the features available on the base panel. I know they have the best processing for old school media like movies and TV shows, but why cannot they at least leave the gaming features and maxed out capabilities of the panel untouched.

Maybe, but is it a $1000 better than a C5?

I just had the LG G5 recently. It is LG's flagship TV and I love everything about it. Sony charges too much for their QD-OLED panel.

S95f? Chea, right.....Samsung blows dangly bits. I dont care how good their HDR+ plus plus ploos plus is. 10 bit color is inferior to Dolby Visions 12 bit color range. End of story.

But this has been disproven with objective data? The TV nerds are saying that Dolby vision came out originally as a bandaid for subpar TV panel uniformity. So how is it that the Samsung panel smokes some of the other flagship TVs without the use of Dolby Vision
