You think better deals are coming for Black Friday?
Who knows... if you're in the hunt for a new OLED monitor, this monitor and price is solid. I bought it when it was at 650 and I'm not disappointed at all!
Aaww man I was very happy with this monitor but mine had a dead pixel and cracked the screen. Was still under accidental coverage thru microcenter.
And yes they stopped making these models.
Ended up getting something else
You're getting what you pay for. I'd spend more to get something with a little more future connectivity, but to each their own. Still a nice wide OLED. I'm not a huge fan of QD-OLED because I'm usually playing with some ambient light, but if you're usually playing in dark environments then you'll love it.
Been using for 1.5 years and it's been flawless. Superb image and it's way smoother and responsive than I'd imagined. Bought it for $700 and don't regret one bit

Have had mine for over 2 years now and got for about $600 at the time (from Amex credit/r*ten/Paypal special/Dell reward). If you have concerns re: dead pixels, don't be. This is amazing equipment. I bought a regular LG monitor around the same time and difference was jarring.
Granted, there are newer AW models out now, but check out the port features and if it meets your needs, much better than dropping $1000 for the latest ones.
This monitor has been a great upgrade even though I love my Sony M9, the resolution is perfect for my 4080super and the ultrawide oled is an eye opener.
I did get lucky with an open box for under $300 dollars but even at this price for a brand new one I would buy it again if I had to.
I bought this monitor 3 years ago for $1100 and dont regret it one bit. The "new" version of this has 240hz, but I don't set my games to "low" to reach past 200, so I have no need to upgrade. I can't imagine what needs to happen for me to want to upgrade from this. Zero dead pixels, zero burn in, the monitor is just as amazing as the first day I got it.
just bought the samsung g8 ultra wide for $599 from costco. i have 90 days to return it. is this monitor worth returning my samsung? i figured i would see some deals on ultra wide OLEDs before the end of the year

How do you like it for text reading. I read a lot of Reddit and tech sites along with gaming.

i have the samsung model. which i think is the same panel. text looks fine. i use mine 99% for work.text, autocad, browser. it all looks good. i heard (reddit posts) windows 11 has much better cleartype, so OLEDs look better on w11 than they did on w10.
only issue i have. is the pixel shift. every hour (maybe more or less frequent, not sure), i will see the image on the monitor shift over a few pxels. its not completely annoying. but im still seeing if i am getting used to it.

This deal is still available for the same price as of 11/19/25, but the newer version of this monitor with 240hz panel is now also on sale for only $100 more. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...b0INT&th=1

240Hz, HDMI 2.1, G-SYNC, FreeSync.
Buy from Dell to get zero dead/bright pixel with 3yr advance replacement warranty.
