Had this keyboard loved the overall feel and if everything worked well it would be a great deal. But the software is very buggy, there is an especially egregious issue with it switching between mac and windows mode in a loop leading to alt and win key being swapped and periods of input delay in games. Tried all the work arounds and non worked or would only work for a few minutes. Returned it as a result

I'll give it a shot for the tactile switch. I really like the look it it.

what's the difference in those keyboards? They all look the same to me except the colors. Sorry I know this is a dumb question but I don't know too much about mechanical keyboards. Do they have different "switches"? Is that the difference?

I got the tactile version and actually quite like it. Better typing satisfaction over kisnt keyboards. They are a bit loud so keep that in mind.

The battery life is horrible if you are trying to go for clean look in setup definitely would need to be wired in

I consider myself a novice keyboard enthusiast but yes, the switch type is the main difference. I used to only know typing on plain membrane keyboards where there aren't any mechanical switches. It's just a sheet of rubber-like membrane that sits between the key you press and the circuitry that registers your key press. When you try a mechanical keyboard, you can instantly tell the difference and each person has a preference for how much "resistance" or "click" there is when typing. The feel of a key being pressed and getting registered as your key press is the actuation point. You should try out some mechanical keyboards at your nearby brick-and-mortar electronics store to see what your fingers notice when typing. After knowing which switch type you prefer typing with, you'll find other things to appreciate about the hobby of mechanical keyboards, like the different color key caps or even the quality of key caps.

love this keyboard, got it as an xmas gift a few years ago so this is a sweet deal, but occasionally my CTRL button doesn't register when i press it. i've had to take the keycap and switch off several times and reinsert to fix it, but within a few months the same issue happens again.

I use an Epomaker keyboard (AULA F108) and their click mouse. Great products. Not so great software but its not necessary nor is it "broken" just antiquated. Also they make QMK/VIA keyboards if anyone happens to be on the lookout for that.

I have this keyboard for almost a year now. I bought it when it was on sale 52.99, so this price is cheaper from what I got it. I got the flamingo switch. I use this keyboard daily for work and its still going strong. Its very comfortable and the response time is very fast. The battery would probably last about 2-2.5 days without charging and 9 hours of constant use. I have no issues with the software. The small screen is gimmicky, but I am glad that I got it. It's a nice distraction to break the daily activities. Be careful when buying from amazon. The 1st purchase was a return and missing several things, so I returned it and the 2nd was a new product.

I had this keyboard as my first foray into mechanical keyboards. Definitely buggy software and gimmicky screen--but still cute and fun nonetheless.

Quality of the keyboard is ok with regard to opening it up to mod it; sounds a lot better to me with the tape mod.

However, best thing about Epomaker for me are the switches. My RT100 came with the Sea Salt Silents (not available here) but very good switch. I also like both the tactile and linear Wisteria switch. The Wisteria tactiles are actually hard to find just by themselves. I've not tried the flamingo switches and gaterons in general are fine to me. Although, others swear by them since its so personal preference.

With that being said, a lot of people don't like Epomaker's business practices, but I've been happy with the actual boards I've gotten from them and recommend this particular keyboard if you're getting into this hobby as well as want an almost-full sized keyboard.

Bought this last time and returned it. Doesn't really feel that nice to type on imo. Definitely not "thocky" to me.

I just purchased my first foray into a replacement keyboard for my MX key, which I have loved outside of just having a key break. Replaced the key with a cap last month and now still seems to not completely latch. Been driving me insane, so I've looked into mechanical keyboards.

Just received the 75% version on Amazon's renewed store today. It's definitely louder, looks fine with RGB off, but still unsure if I'm going to keep it. I guess I've just gotten used to the low profile of the keys keyboard. Ugh.

Yeah, as others have stated the software is likely crap. The battery can't last 6 weeks in these, really?
