as an aside, harbor freight also sells this under their "Braun" name... more expensive right now, but regularly goes to $20 or less... i have one myself and it's pretty good. i use it in my shed.

Huh? 4 or 5k is best. 6500k that many of them are- are too blue.

I was thinking 5K was just right 🤣. Lower would be yellowish and higher would be blueish?

Should it be 6500k for that white garage light color. Sorry, in the market for a garage light but don't know what is supposed to be good.

If they don't write it don't expect it to be high. Esp in a $20 fixture

Color temperature of the SUN is 5000k to 6500k. (depending on time of day) Your eyes have evolve to function optimally in that light. Dont use anyting else.

Free $10 e-gift card with the purchase of over $100. So if you need 5 lights the deal is even slicker! They gave me the GC even though the total was only $99.95!
GC is automatically added to your cart and delivered to your email within 24 hrs. Discount off would be better… but I'll take a GC and buy a 6th light later for $10. I'm using 4 in my basement and 2 in my 20' shed.

My preferred color temp is 4000K. To me that is the whitist you will get without any blue tint or yellow tint. I don't mind 3500K either.

If you're not sure what color temperature you like, or if you don't know much about it, Costco has a pack of 4 light bulbs, they're 1600 lumens (each bulb) and they have a color temperature slider switch on each bulb. You can test it out for your own eyes, I think it starts at 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, and 5000K (don't hold me to that though).

Whatever temp / color makes you happy. 100% personal preference.
