These have been around $40 for some time and unlike previous Flex Control models, is very uncomfortable, barely any cushioning.

would the lack of cushioning hurt ones feet and is this like flip flop cushioning or girly man cushioning?

I bought a pair a few months ago. They feel horrible after a few minutes of walking.

Are these stiffer and made for weight training? Maybe that could be the reason people say they have no cushion. You don't want cushion during a weight or balance training

Reading people complain about how uncomfortable they are while walking is confusing. These are weight training shoes. They should be flat and have little cushioning. You do not want a high heel when squatting and deadlifting. Now if they are too narrow, that's a problem. Your toes need room to spread so you are more grounded and have more balance.

I owned these a few years ago.

If you are literally not walking in them, running or standing around in them.... Then yes?

They were a neutral offset so the heel isn't much higher than the forefoot.

These were the least cushioned shoes i've ever owned. They were very flat and thin cushioned. Low ankle collar didn't help with adding cushioned in-soles. (heel slip, bad fit). Traction sucked as well.

I'd take cheap walmart AVIA shoes over these any day of the week, and twice on sundays.

I'm think I'm in the minority, but I love these shoes for the price. I like the neutral offset and stiffer soles. I wear them to the gym and they're comfortable to me, and I can squat & deadlift well with them (most sneakers are too soft, compress too much, and make many exercises difficult in the gym for me).

I guess I'm in the minority as well. I have these shoes and I love them. I prefer a more neutral flat shoe. I have certainly tried more narrow shoes than these, so I don't feel that they are super narrow. Certainly not as narrow as Adidas. I can and do wear these all day long and find them very comfortable.

Yep, really like them for bootcamp-style workouts. Good lateral support.

I got these at the outlet. They've been this price. They're alright. I wouldn't wear them for long walks. I'd wear them for the gym as long as you're not running in them. Otherwise they're good for leisure.

Any one want to trade a left shoe for a right one in a size 13 in black for this model of shoe? I want try something out based on a theory I've been working on.
