Is it possible to stack cards? I know the Limit 1 per customer. I want to see if I can get each of my friends to buy one so I can stack em up for a new GPU?

Can't stack. The promo gift card is linked to the purchaser's account.

Do people still uses newegg frequently? After bad experience I have been avoiding it. It's much different company then 4-5 years ago.

After they were bought by that Chinese holding company, it slowly morphed into a much less customer-friendly company. They started pulling crap in 2020 and 2021 like forced bundles of bad products like defective, dangerous Gigabyte PSUs nobody wanted. After people started returning the crappy bundled products in droves, they changed the policy to require both products be returned.

They were amongst many retailers who participated in price gouging of GPUs during the shortages too. They basically burned any goodwill they built over the decades. I've been buying from them since the 90's, and watched as they sadly turned into just another retailer.

I now consider them to be lesser alternative to Amazon and Best Buy. Best Buy usually will price match Newegg if they have the same SKU.

I've been shopping with them since 2006 and still get great pc parts at better deals (bundled) than Amazon. I also research brands and reliability of them for builds so I don't get screwed by cheaping out either. Luckily only had 1 return in almost 20 years for a bad asus mobo that had an error code like 15 years ago, but 4 pc builds later no issues with anything. Idk how they are today with returns though.

The more recent GCards deals for Newegg have been $10 for $100 so this is better.

Going into BF/Holiday you're bound to find something to use it on before the credit expires.
