Can anyone describe the sound signature with all the Baseus enhancements turned off?

Previously, I owned and returned the BC1 because with the default settings (Baseus EQ + bass boost) they had a lot of distortion on bassy tracks. With all the enhancements disabled, they sounded anaemic and hollow.
