I have one of these. It works fine, just be aware the USB ports are very limited in current. You're not fast-charging anything with the built-in USB.

I love how the picture shows it being used in a bathroom but most bathrooms have GFCI outlets and this device isn't compatible with those outlets. Not to mention the manufacturer can't spell GFCI or speak English correctly on their marketing.

Is the status light bright enough to be a night light in the bathroom?

No, it's very dim. Doesn't even really illuminate the plugs underneath it.

Regardless of your complaints, I have several of their brand outlet extenders now for about 2 years and they work perfectly. Them and KMC make great outlet extenders.

Yes, but how "very dim"? For some of us the night light should produce just enough illumination to safely find the toilet, but not more, not enough to wake us up from half-sleep.

It's a status light and not a night light. You're not finding your way anywhere with it.

China is already ahead of America in most industries. While we sit on our butts and make fun on their English they are selling these all over the world, especially countries that don't care about gfci in bathrooms.

It is compatible, but with caveats. You cannot screw it into the outlet and you have to cut the bottom stud off (it's plastic). GFCI will still work, but you'll have to remove the whole device every time you need to reset GFCI.
