Govee outdoor products have been the worst for me. Their outdoor lights have constantly failed for me after a year. Never again……!

While Govee lights failed multiple times for me, I got free replacements. However it's pain to setup them and install every time they fail. It's not worth the investment on the name of lifetime lights.

the pros have a couple things different the white looks better they are brighter and you can splice them and not void the warranty...i guess that is 3...the other sets CAN be spliced but it voids the warranty

I'm curious what the Pro brightness would look like vs the "Elite" (Costco's version of the 2nd edition). I put up the Elite and turned down the brightness as naturally lights can leak into your own windows.

If the Pros are more of a "cleaner" white/bright then maybe that'd been something interesting. Else....dunno if it'd been worth it

I got specifically got the Enbrighten brand from Costco because of my fear of these crapping out in a year or two. $170 for 100ft, app is good, so I've been pleased so far with my purchase since I put them up last week.

Thank you I was actually looking through that thread and noticed they will be on sale for Black Friday so I might pick up a set of those.

The seamless way the sets of lights work together because of the AI is a huge selling point for the Govee lights. Just because you don't think you want it doesn't mean "no one asked for" it

My outdoor lights have been going strong for years with no issue. Been eyeballing the pros as a replacement only because I moved to a house with more soffit space.

No experience with this item, but I did see reviews about installing these vs the Enbrighten version from Costco. I ended up getting the Enbrighten 100' sets and put them up last week. Was super easy. They have a little disc that clips on w/ 3M tape. Install onto light, remove film from tape, press onto soffit. Remove light from disc, put screw thru center hole on mount and youre done... Was super easy. App is good, too.
I have Govee products, Hue, Enbrighten and the AppLights. Def glad to replace my C9 AppLights strings and leave something up, and didnt care for the product either (strands would randomly die every year when reinstalling). So far am happy with Enbrighten... for whatever thats worth from a random stranger

If your concerned about reliability then I'm not sure any of these things left outside and used year round are going to consistently hold up. If you are looking to save cost you can look into similar sets by Asahom, their new offering has some really favorable reviews on YouTube or the best solution might arguably be a custom WLED set up.I recommend checking out Chris Maher's YouTube channel to learn more about LED products.
