Same thing is $50 more with the November special pricing at Costco: https://www.costco.com/p/-//40003...21b43414-0

I was stopping by SD to see what people thought of the Costco deal Smilie

How does this compare to the Skytech deal also at bestbuy? https://slickdeals.net/f/18765382-skytech-gaming-skytech-rampage2-intel-core-i7-14700f-nvidia-geforce-rtx-5070-ti-32gb-6000-mhz-ddr5-ram-850w-gold-a3-psu-1629-99?src=category_page

It looks like a better video card on the Skytech with a 1 TB vs 2TB HD on this computer. I'm not sure how the processors match up.

Intel is behind AMD so I would avoid Intel personally. The latest Intel gen is okay (more efficient) but still behind AMD. If you are serious about gaming (wanting the fastest possible refresh rate) then get 9800X3D processors, though the 9900X would be better for multicore workloads and still good for gaming, just not the absolute best. Costco deal has Wifi 7, Best Buy has Wifi 6E. Walmart deal for $1699 is way better but goes out of stock quickly whenever restocked (newer motherboard, 5070 TI, 9800X3D).

Anyone looking to buy this, please check some reviews on Youtube. A lot of reviewers complain about poor thermal configuration and a lesser quality power supply.

Got any links? I just see other versions of it on Youtube, this is an exclusive Walmart one. The psu is C-tier, but I haven't seen anyone mention thermals.

There's two versions of this case, I've used both. One has a glass front, and the other has vents instead. The glass front one has major cooling issues, basically turns the case into a oven, as the intake air is choked off. The one with vents doesn't have this issues, and temps will be around 10C cooler at least across the board.

MSI warranty is a joke. Just hope you don't have to replace any parts.

bought this exact one about a month ago from best buy on sale for like 30 more than it is now. been playing games daily while multitasking. ive had no issues as of yet and my system is staying cool. i set the rgb in the case to change color based on system temps. never gone above blueish green.
playing games in 1440 at around 240 fps. only thing id recommend is adding a bit more storage, maybe up the ram when this ramageddon ends lol
