This is exactly high end portable monitors should do. Not that hard to just put a built in stand instead of the floppy cover

I sorta like the floppy cover. It means I can put it on the edge of a table - floppy cover = more surface area to stand it up.

+1, that is why I purchased the one with the floppy cover on the other posted deal. Plus the floppy cover will let you set your monitor on uneven surfaces.
Note that these certified refurbished items are actually covered by an all state 2 yr warranty (1 yr on lower grades) so factor that in the purchase price and ease of dealing with warranty issues.

Did you get one with a floppy cover? Acer doesn't always ship the same model as pictured. I'm debating gambling as I want the cover.
