I guess it's "heavy duty" but light load.

Correct. Duty rating and load rating are two different marketing points.
Most manufacturers will use the duty rating to describe the build of a cord (thickness of the sheath, reinforcement of the plug, etc).
A light duty cord, for example, aren't weather resistant, have the thin two wire insulation (like lamp cord) or just have the fabric sheath (like most travel adapters).

A man can never have enough extension cords. In for one.

It's 16 gauge rated for 13AMP/1600W so unless you are trying to plug in an air conditioner or a generator, this will be more than enough capable for 99.8% of items you may ever want to plug in.

Or a space heater, don't plug a space heater into this everyone. Plug those directly into the wall

I would not, every connection is additional resistance. Best to buy the appropriate length and wire gauge.

No. Especially not a treadmill, they have a surprisingly high draw.

If you need an extension cord for anything that has a motor, just pony up and buy a good 12 gauge cord. If you're wanting Christmas lights, then this is fine.
