For those on the fence- I've propagated phothos (ivy) in this exact item several times - takes about 2.5 weeks under a grow light. Plants drop in, pull out just as easy. Tilt to drain, no problems cleaning. I haven't had to remove the rod since I put it together. The $13 design is cool, but paying 30% more than the original deal doesn't seem slick enough too me.
