One thing to look out for with this style is the rod that cuts through the glass bulbs, which makes it a hassle to remove the bulbs or obstruct the plant when it grows.
There are newer versions (look up "propagation station") where the bulbs are easier to remove because the rods are not designed to cut through them, like this $13 one:

For those on the fence- I've propagated phothos (ivy) in this exact item several times - takes about 2.5 weeks under a grow light. Plants drop in, pull out just as easy. Tilt to drain, no problems cleaning. I haven't had to remove the rod since I put it together. The $13 design is cool, but paying 30% more than the original deal doesn't seem slick enough too me.
