One of the remotes is 2 way and the second remote is 1 way. A 2 way remote has a light and sound to indicate when the car been remote started, and continues to blink before you get in the car. A 1 way remote just starts the car but does not provide any feedback to confirm it.

Same model. Usually $250 every year around this time. In fact it was $199 back in March of 2024.I would wait and see if it goes back to $250 around Black Friday. Just make sure you set a deal alert to get notified.

We had one of these installed a few years ago for $250. It has been working well since. So far, have not even replaced the battery in the remote.
If you are getting this, consider also getting the security system addon, which adds an alarm to prevent theft.

to be clear, is this a full remote 2 way start or an upgrade?

Yep! Purchased one for my wife's car in 2021 and it was cheaper than this even after all the cable harnesses we had to buy. It's still one of the best deals I've seen to add remote start so I'm in for one haha time to add remote start to my truck.

Think these will ever go back to $250? Is the price increase due to tariffs?

Couldn't I buy this and use the holiday placement warranty from Best buy? If the price drops from now until January 15. 2026, they claim a price match / refund

I am really tempted to get this. How likely is it go down in price around Black Friday?
