Might be a little nitpicky but these are not Sonicare products, different technology

Are you saying this doesn't work like other SonicCare toothbrushs?

Philips is the one calling it Sonicare, so it's appropriate in the title.
I have a 9000-series for home and one of these for travel. Just lasted a 2-week trip to China on a freshly recharged AAA battery. Before I used a Quip for travel and vastly prefer the Sonicare. The Quip felt a lot weaker.

Correct, not the same technology / clinicals behind that product

These things are absolute trash. Nothing like a real sonicare. The vibration/motion is so weak and the bristles are so soft that I honestly think I'd get a better clean from a regular toothbrush. I paid less than this price for mine and still wish I never bothered.

Came here to say the same thing. This thing is garbage.

Yes not the same as the traditional line but for a week or two it's better than manual and easier to pack

Philips absolutely does not call this product Sonicare. Closest thing you'll see is "by Sonicare" but there is a clear distinction. You are correct that this is meant to be a competitor to Quip and the likes though

Sort of. I ended up buying a second Philips 3000(?) series when they went on sale and a 3rd party travel charger, but last time I went away for a month I never needed to charge it. It's not that much larger and, if the battery were to fail, you can still use it as a manual in a pinch. I'm a pretty dedicated one-bag (-ish) traveler so any drop in weight or volume is a target, but this just doesn't rise to being worth the loss in functionality for the minimal space saved.

  1. 43% off is misleading as they often are $19-22 everyday price.
  2. Mint Blue color at Walmart is $15: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Philip.../854779644
  3. The vibrating motor is much weaker than "full size" brush. As long as your expectation is in check, then you are good.
  4. These ones use special heads and regular "full size" heads will not fit.
