Pretty average, there's 9800X3D + RTX 5080s at this price all the time now, sometimes even cheaper.

I'm sure if you build it yourself and be smart about sourcing parts you can get it down to $1600-1800 ish

You can definitely build this quote a bit cheaper than $2400, your estimate is probably too low tho. 5080 + 9800X3D is like $1450 by itself.

Put an order for this from AI directly this morning. Upgraded the PSU to 1000w and used the WELCOME25 code. Came to just under $2400 w/ shipping. Also landed without sales tax, so that was a big plus as well.

I knew if a 5080/9800x3D rig goes for like $2k~ soon, it's going to be some house brand like Cyberpower or PowerSpec... those ugly (in my opinion), bulky towers are that are active on sale right now.

This one actually looks pretty damn solid, and the reviews from those who have already received theirs seems overwhelmingly positive.

Should be 64GB DDR5 at this price. Costco has the 9900X 5080 AMD build on BF for $2200. We should see 9800X3D 5080 builds at that price or below.

Can I ask why you upgraded to a 1000 PSU?

Just as a precautionary measure. Not REALLY needed, but it def won't hurt.

A 1000w gold unit is most power efficient at 50% max load. So just around what this system actually uses. Also extends the longevity of the PSU since it's not being stressed.
