Creality 3D via Aliexpress

Ships from a USA Warehouse.

Pre-coupon price is $136.10 as of this post.
Apply coupon RE25B or AEUS26 at checkout to drop the price to $111.10There is a seller that has it [aliexpress.us] a few dollars less using the same coupon, but I'd feel more comfortable with Creality as the seller if given the choice.

Given that I'm *still* waiting for a 3rd party seller to ship from the last time this went on sale, I think I'm going to cancel and order direct this time.

Edit: my seller claims (and has for two weeks now) that it will ship on 11/6; I may just hold out and see. If they fail, I've still got 11/11 coming up and that might yield an even better coupon. Also, I already have one of these and it's feeding direct my Prusa XL. So far it's been great, keeping PLA in one chamber (2 rolls) and PETg in the second chamber (2 rolls) and running a quick dry cycle as the moisture in the chamber goes above 20% RH.

I bought one of these back when they had the engineering test units on sale. I've been very impressed with it and it even has features like auto-start when RH goes above a certain level. My fav feature is it's a split unit so you can dry two diff types of filament that requires diff temps. Make sure you have correct temp set for your type of filament. I accidentally ran a dry cycle on PETG heat level when I only had PLA in it because of the way the gui worked - I prob need to apply a fw update for fixes but that takes copying to USB drive and plugging it in which I haven't done yet. If your AMS doesn't have a dryer function or you don't have an AMS then this dryer is for you! (Sorry to sound like a commercial but few things impress me at my advanced age. 😂)

How essential are these dryers? I just ordered my first 3d printer and some silk PLA and PETG filament. I'm planning to keep them in a sealed storage tote in a climate controlled room.

I have a Bambu A1 w/ AMS lite I'm just relocating to the garage. Mild climate area but still worried about humidity. Would this work to maintain filliment quality and be able to feed my AMS lite while printing.

I bought the one in the 2nd link from the AeviLiving Store the last time they had it on sale on Oct 1. They still have not shipped it. So I wouldn't recommend buying it from them.

depends on your humidity locally - but the unfortunate reality is that a dry area won't extract humidity from the filament, especially the inner half of the roll. it's not mandatory to start with; but everyone i know has had print issues that were eventually corrected by drying problem filament. another sad truth is some filament isn't dry right from the factory even in a sealed bag.

For my active rolls, yes. I haven't put my kill-a-watt on it to see what the long terms draw is, though. For rolls that are started/open but aren't on the printer (and for the heads I haven't switched to the Pi) I have (about 15) sealed cereal boxes with molecular sieves that hold the humidity inside to
