Colognes absolutely do not have grades, where did you hear this nonsense from?

Costco colognes are authentic. If by any once-in-a-blue-moon chance you may get a counterfeit item, you can return it.

My Millesime Imperial purchased about a month ago is authentic. Compared with a vial of Millesime from unaffiliated decanter #1. Compared unaffiliated decanter #1's aventus with aventus from decanter #2
Anyways, I trust my future purchases of fragrance from Costco (for now).

bought Creed Green Irish Tweed last front page deal, and from what i can tell, is legit.
Also purchased Versace Pour homme, Versace Eau Fraiche, and Versace Eros, All smelled like how it smelled when i tested it from Sephora.
I can definitely say it's pretty legit so far.

Colognes have grades; the Costco ones are authentic, but they're not the top grade, lasting differently from the ones you get from Saks or Nordstrom or the Creed store. Again, they're authentic, but diluted in simple words. Nothing is cheap without a reason.

Not a bad deal from Costco. If you want to get it even cheaper, eBay has many going for ~$120-$170 if you're ok with possibly dealing with returns in case you get a fake. I've had pretty good success from eBay but you have to make sure to check the reviews of the seller. For anyone curious as to how to tell a fake vs a real one apart, here's a quick test:
  1. Check the packaging, the box should be textured.
  2. Check the printing of the inserts. The "CREED" Logo on the Creed summary insert should be debossed into the paper.
  3. The easiest, check the collar of the fragrances. Take the cap and atomizer off the bottle and check for the material of the collar. If it's a metal/silver collar, it's fake. If it's clear plastic, it's real. Image for reference: https://imgur.com/a/TsqOPWN (left is fake, right is real)

It smells like Salted Watermelon. I have the real bottle as well as Armaf Milestone (the clone) and they smell nearly identical except the Armaf has better projection. The Creed one is a bit softer.

No; there are different concentrations.
Eau de Parfum is the strongest you'll typically encounter. There is also Eau de toilette (slightly less concentrated) and Eau de Cologne (the least concentrated).
Fragrances are pretty high margin products so it's not surprising that Costco can run great specials on them
