If the call quality is "super" important to you, get the Shokz OpenDots ONE.

This is my review on the Shokz.
"Have these and the first gen. Love them. The 2nd Gen has a great upgrade with the touch button. Battery life is great, sound is amazing, mic sounds clear according to the people I talk to. Charge is very fast and gives you hours with a 5 minute charge if you need to extend the conversation. They are light and can barely notice them on. They are open so you are aware of your surroundings. Case is magnetic so they align quick and no guessing. They connect to Bluetooth very fast, almost pair before you take it out of the case and on one ear.
I also have the Bose open ear type that wrap around your ear and the these beat the Bose almost in every category. Same with any airpods, I have 1st, 2nd Gen air pods and the pros and Shokz beat them all.
I have to say these are probably the best wireless bud type on the market by far. Don't know what they will do with a 3rd gen and how they will top it. In the open ear category these are Alpha, no one beats them.
Great price for used, would jump on these without hesitation."
So altho the Bose are great, the Shokz are vast superior. Hope this helps.
I got 2x new pair for $300 total awhile back off ebay.

What doesn't work on the fake ones is that it won't connect to the Bose app. The buttons do different things, the lights are different and the magnet/hinge is much weaker on the fakes. They do show up with the same name in Bluetooth settings as the real pair. I bought my real ones directly from Bose and returned them, despite the fact that I don't like returning things, in general. The biggest problem with the fake ones as they are way too tight. The flexible silicone is stronger despite being the same size as the fake pair. They are very uncomfortable to wear that tightly. The fake ones stay in my ear no problem whatsoever without being nearly as tight. They do sound better, but I only wear them as background music when I'm working so audio quality isn't my priority. I hope Bose releases a bigger one or something with looser silicone similar to the fake ones.
I would caution that these might be returns of fake units, so make sure you can connect to the Bose app. I would imagine that a lot of the reviews about the bad microphone quality are people who didn't even know they had fake units because mine were fine.
One other difference was that I had to peel one of those strips to open the original pair. The fake ones come with a very similar looking sleeve and packaging but they came shrink wrapped. Open box originals should have the leftover from that peel strip, it's like perforated thin cardboard.
