Probably can't go wrong either way. I think this monitor had been at this price for a couple months before it jumped up and then came back down to $200.

I bought it just in case. If it drops or something better comes I can price match or return and buy the other

Looks like it doesn't support a VESA Mount. Not sure if that if important to you or not.

Edit jpaero found information that it comes with a 75mm VESA mount in the box.

It does; it comes with a VESA bracket adapter (75mm x 75mm, per Sceptre website). Amazon has it in the last photo.

Thanks for the info. I was watching a review on it and he talked about the 75mm VESA mount. I was going to edit the post but you beat me to it.

I purchased one of these a few days ago, and it is gorgeous for playing ARK, but it struggles with text. I was trying to replace my one of my MSI G274QPF E2's (IPS 27") for my home office, but the difference in text clarity (especially when moving windows) was stark. My wife loves it for gaming and 3d work.

Why does it suck for text? Is it BGR reversed pixel arrangement?

I can only say that I could clearly see colors at the edges of black text on white background (and vise versa). I tried using windows's clear type thingy, but it offered no improvement. My brain took an extra beat to identify the characters on this monitor vs the IPS. Letter were simply less... defined. It was doubly problematic when scrolling text, as the smearing made it more difficult to navigate.
