It's a great sub, but I ended up returning it for the 12s which worked much, much better for my setup. Double the price, but sometimes you gotta bite the bullet

I just bought one. Too bad the price is the same as pre tariff pricing. I just hope this thing will last.

How large is the room you have it in. I was debating if the 10S would be big enough for my room..

Did some research and sounds like one of the best for under $600. In for one.

I was really debating to go with the 12S in the last 2 weeks because I wasn't sure when this one would be back in stock. But I think the 12S is a little too big for my home office, given I just received a Klipsch 12" sub, and also a little bit overkill. So I think this will fit the office better.

I'm 20x20 with a small kitchen off to the side not added into that. (Condo open concept). Guess the 12 may be the better option for my space. I had twin internal Definitive Technology 8's in my BP towers that the amps buzz, so im looking for a sub. 👍

I have the 10s Mk 2 in my home office.. Works great. You probably want to use the 12S in your main setup, not in the office. The 10s is probably as large as you want to go in the office. I wish it was a little smaller so it would fit under the drawers of my desk.

I have an original 10S, 10S MKII, and a 12S. Current main setup is the 12S and 10S MKII behind a MiniDSP and the 10S in my home office.

All three are great, but the 12S is a beast compared to the 10S (either version) and for a large room I would go straight to that. With that said, those 10Ss do hold their own even against other brands' 12" models. Great bang for the buck and size.

Which one would you recommend for an apartment?

Depends how much you hate your neighbors. In all seriousness, either model puts out a ton of bass (you won't go anywhere near maxing either out without complaints from neighbors). If you expect to eventually move to a bigger space in the next few years, consider the 12S, but if that isn't likely anytime soon, the 10S will be plenty powerful.

If you just want fill-in bass presence, the 10S or even 10e will be fine. If you want VISCERAL bass, you'd need to move up to the $800-900 range e.g. the 12S, Hsu VTF-2, etc.

The latter is not a good idea in an apartment, however. 🤣

I've got a 10e in my TV area in my basement. The room is about 15x17 feet. The 10e does the job of filling out the low end and sends a nice rumble to my kitchen above it. RSL offers a pretty great value for the price. I opted for the lowest end model to save some money and because I don't need wireless functionality. There are a couple other reasons to spring for the 10s mk II though. If this price is in your budget you're not likely to do much better than this sub. Definitely punches above its price.

I also got the 10e (when it came in stock last week). I was willing to pay for the 10s, but with my setup being entirely for music and in a small office room, there's no need for the added features. It arrived 2 days ago, and I'm extremely happy. I almost think it's overkill due to the size and only needing ~40% gain, but I have no regrets after hearing the sound quality and realizing it will do well in a larger room if [and when] I move.
