The "Heavy Duty" non-alkaline batteries are great for infrequently used low drain applications like remotes, keyboards, computer mouses, thermostats, etc. Especially since they do not corrode/explode like alkaline batteries.

I probably threw away 200 good batteries from there giveaways. Got tired of replacing them every 5 minutes.

They are awful...bleed red dye on everything if they get wet and leave behind some fibers.

Have the red shop towels gotten any better or do they still leave red fibers everywhere?

How are the wrenches? Could use a few sets (if they aren't complete junk) and have been real tempted to join ITC....

Once a day at each location you visit has been my experience.

ITC is one if the best memberships I have done. It has paid for itself with free items. Choose the 2 year membership, available in store for $45. You can't get the two year membership at that price online.

Perfectly acceptable if you are not cranking on super rusted stuff.

Worked well for me also. The orange Harbor Freight alkalines are cheaper, and a better value, but the blue Thunderbolt alkalines do a last a little longer. The yellow heavy duty AA's at Harbor Freight are very old school tech, capacity is about 1/3 of alkalines.
