Ubiquiti is a great company. Their stock is gaining too, and I can see it going even higher with all of these great products and the new deal with Microcenter to sell in-store. Definitely a buy!

Ubiquiti is great and all, but this would be more ideal if it actually had 2.5gbe (or more) on the LAN side so you really can only top out at 1 gig speeds.

I have and use this exact device. It's been basically flawless for me for a couple of years. I have no regrets.

I originally switched because my previous mesh routers out of the blue suddenly kept having some weird connectivity issues and it was driving me crazy. I set this thing up and it basically immediately informed me that problem I was having on my network was that I was operating under double NAT now. For some reason, my ISP remotely changed the settings on my modem without my permission to force it into managing NAT, And some other settings that cut my bandwidth down by 90%. When I called them they confessed to everything and "thought they emailed me about it".

Anyway, this thing is a beast. I have 160 devices on my network, including dozens of smart cameras constantly doing cloud events and use over 4TB/month. The load average on its 4 cores is usually between 1-2.7 despite what I feel is pretty heavy usage. Very satisfied for the last couple of years. 👍

Just wanted to chime in since I own this product along with whole family of UniFi Products. I migrated my home from Cisco Meraki to all UniFi .

This Firewall is great. It does so much and I'm using like half of it. The hdd enclosure for VOD "s surveillance is sweet. I have 3gb Internet I have the 3gig line going to UniFi than going to 10gb switch than to UniFi 7-Pro ap.

I have dual Internet setup. As failover. That was all plug and play. Years ago you had to be a freaking ccna to input routes and figure that out. Now it does it for you. Good security. Good region blocking . I like how it tracks all the clients from WiFi to lan to wan . It's worth every single penny and dollar.

You can designate the SFP ports as LAN ports and split from there.

You can designate the SFP ports as LAN ports and split from there... I have a few 10gbps devices and my computer is wired with 2.5gbps fios.

Unifi are great products, but keep in mind that the warranty from third parties not from unifi directly are one year from the date of manufacture not the date of purchase, only devices bought on the UniFi website are warrantied one year from date of purchase
