Should be ~this price at Costco on 17th or thereabouts but with a 5-year warranty. Still, a good price for right now...

Samsungs mid range and high end oleds are QD-OLED.... which is better than what LG uses for their mid range tvs. I would buy a Sammy over lg any day after I got my s90c. I had a c9 and an a80j also and I prefer the Samsung

C9 is a 6 year old OLED at this point. Something like a C5 would be a fairly significant improvement--particularly in terms of UI responsiveness and image processing, but also brightness. My point is, I wouldn't compare a newer Samsung to an older LG.

Samsung has the much better display because it's QD-OLED (far better colors and brighter), but LG has much better reliability and supports Dolby Vision.

I wouldn't say it's better display but it's brighter.

Our LG went out so quickly. I've had minor issues with some Samsung tvs (2012 model wifi went out, 2016 model flickered when playing ps4 for some reason). But I will say the tvs have lasted me at least a decade when the LG lasted 2 yrs unfortunately.
