Ordered 2 in separate orders. First one never got an order confirmation, shows 999 on the order page even though everything said 699 when checking out, and the CC charge also shows $699. 2nd one no problems and got an order confirmation email.

I've never experienced either of these conditions, FWIW. Re-Verifying service should never happen unless there's some kind of system error after you've authenticated with ID.me or maybe a fraud alert is triggered like perhaps Login with my ID and then ordering with someone else's card, ship info, etc.

My father was in the army reserves for a few yrs , yet I wonder why he doesnt qualify at least when tried online. More than likely this 699 price may show this Christmas for open box at Best Buy or something. 799 on the 15 would be great as well. For a travel laptop and a small form factor the 13s are great.
