I'd goes with something in the Asus lineup. They support their routers much longer than tplink and use open firmware which is easy to develop and audit for security.

For some reason, once I log in with Shop it removes my WELCOME10 coupon (I never shopped at TP-Link store before, also tried my wife's email and coupon was removed as well). SMART15 doesn't work for me either
