These Govee outdoor smart net lights stand out for a low price and app based syncing across other Govee products through DreamView. The lights can reportedly share the same scene with compatible devices, which helps extend a display across different Govee gear. The main limitation is that additional sets cannot be physically attached end to end, so they will not act as one continuous horizontal display. Scene Stage compatibility also appears limited to other Govee products. A strong value if you want coordinated effects rather than daisy chained coverage.
homeowners who want to sync the same lighting scenes across multiple Govee products (like pairing these net lights with Govee TV background lights) because the app's DreamView can synchronize effects across Govee devices for a unified smart lighting experience.
people planning a single net-light installation who still want app control and can live with using the same scene on each set rather than one continuous "display" across multiple sets because you can apply the same scene to each set via the app even though you can't combine multiple sets into one synchronized unit.
buyers who want the lowest price of the year on a 2.8' x 9.4' outdoor smart net light because Keepa shows this listing as the lowest price of the year.
Govee Scene Stage users who specifically want these lights to integrate into a Scene Stage setup because reviewers note they don't seem able to sync using Govee's Scene Stage system.
people who want to buy several units for one roof and have them act as one combined synchronized "display" moving across sets because commenters call out that you can't attach additional sets into a single synchronized unit.
shoppers trying to physically connect multiple net-light sets end-to-end (a true daisy chain) because commenters say it can't be physically connected like that, even if syncing is possible.
DIY-minded buyers who care most about long-term serviceability and power/wire quality because one commenter argues Govee uses an undersized power supply and 26AWG wire and prefers building/converting to their own setup instead.
Yes, they can sync with other Govee devices through the app using DreamView to coordinate effects across products. They may not work with Scene Stage, which is listed as compatible only with specific products like the Curtain Lights V2.
They cannot be physically daisy-chained end-to-end into one continuous display. You can still apply the same scene to each set in the app, but a design cannot move seamlessly across two connected nets as one unit.
Keepa shows this as the lowest price of the year. That makes the $90 Prime deal especially strong if you were already planning to buy into the Govee ecosystem.
Yes, they can reportedly be converted to WLED for a more flexible DIY setup. The tradeoff is losing Govee app integration, but the conversion is presented as a way to get a larger pixel count for less money.

Oof, that's kind of a deal killer, I'd like to get a few of these for my roof but if they can't connect, it's a no go for me

Pixels are pixels same ICs it's not like Govvee is creating anything they are using existing parts, adding their own controller and using cheap wire.
My DIY will last just as long and be user serviceable, more powerful, more flexible and I can build 6 of them for the same price.
So tell me how I am going to have any regrets? Sounds like people are really having a hard time coping with the truth.
I just linked the video take the time to watch it where I literally show you the flaws I'm pointing out.
Govee sent an undersized power supply and used 26AWG wire same as the cheapest stuff from Temu.
So until someone with actual knowledge and hands on can say something, you have nothing to say but a malformed opinion and I'm working with facts.
Want long term? I have builds 5 years old still working fine on my channel where I teach people how to build this stuff themselves.
