To be more specific, the multi-color one has only a single color on one each individual tube. The tubes are on the line and each tube is a single color in this order: red, white, blue green.
On the video and images for the page, it's noted that the end of the first line (near tube 8) should connect to the start of the next additional line (IE near tube 1) when you link these together. I don't totally get it though because if your rotation is 4 colors long, then the last color will always connect to the first color since they are in sets of 8 with only 4 colors. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Maybe they're numbered tubes which feels dumb to me; there could be a 'we were actually this cheap' electrical reason for it too maybe but that's not my area.
