In terms of performance not a good deal. Mediatek Helio G99 is old and overpriced. You can get a plethora of options for android devices at this price point which would have something like a snapdragon 865 or a dimensity 1100. Unless you really wanted a tablet at this size, you're better off looking at one of the many decent offerings of chinese handhelds/tablets like Retroid, Anbernic, etc. Of course it really depends on what you wanna do with it. But I'm assuming anyone looking for an android tablet wants to do some gaming on it.

Can you please recommend one with at least 11" or more screen? It's for my wife that's mainly for watching Netflix. No gaming. She's currently using an old Fire HD 10 tablet. I was thinking about the Fire Max 11.

I traded an old (2021) fire tablet for the Fire Max 11 64Gb and standard 4GB RAM.
Overall, I like the tablet, it is snappier than previous version, battery life it is at least the same. A nice plus is the stylus if you need/like it.
For me there is one issue: sometimes when waking up the tablet, despite being connected to my wifi, tablet does not do any traffic, reports 'no internet connection' and even restart does not make a difference... I have to wait for it to come back which usually lasts a few minutes. I tried both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, no difference, same behavior. If it continues like this, I may ask for warranty/replacement.

Yes. Given its hackability, as well as Ebay and other deals, the Fire Max 11 remains the best deal for low end tablets for nearly all of us. Just download FireToolbox and follow instructions:

Except most of those Chinese tablets with a G99 have horrible build quality. More than likely in 3 months of use the solder joints holding the USB c charge port will break and you won't be able to charge again. Speaking from experience with Aldocube, and many other tablets like it around 100 or less. If this Acer has much better build quality and durability then the price is more worth it. I can not speak to that though.
