I got one of these on that same deal you got and it still isn't working. I have been messaging back and forth with their customer support for the last 16 days and still after all the trouble shooting it still is not working. They want to ship me a new motor and new motherboard now and have me install it.

We have one at the office, and it runs continuous over a year now, with more than 100 rolls of filament used. We've only needed to replace a few hot end and nothing else. This is pretty typical for most my printers as I tend to swap out the hot ends on my bambus pretty much around the same time.

That's wild, my brother in law and I both bought one and we haven't had any issues.

I've got an Ender and a used K1C, both from this seller. But I keep having to tweak 'em to get 'em running smooth and reliable. Creality's refurbished units are totally hit or miss quality-wise. The used K1C I got? That unit is actually pretty solid. I'm gonna give their refurbished K1 MAX a shot, this price is a steal! After discount, it's only $300. It's $40 cheaper than a used one.

Easier said then done. They will fight it tooth and nail with troubleshooting first. Support for part failure is one of the main reasons I avoid the more budget brands these days.
