I'm actually interested in a 2 or 3 KW model as well but Everytime a deal comes up on one of those I do the math and 2x $350 or 3x $350 is always cheaper than the sale price on the bigger unit, making it very hard to justify considering I have no real need for a higher max wattage. More smaller units= more flexibility and a lot more portability.

Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 is a compact LiFePO4 power station that fits camping, fridge backup, and light outage duty. It can run a refrigerator for hours, keep a heating pad going for multiple nights, and power USB C laptops more efficiently than using the AC adapter. The unit is very quiet on the low setting and works well for bedroom use or as a short UPS bridge. Main limits are the tight DC8020 solar ports, modest solar input of up to 400W, and runtime that drops fast on high draw loads like heaters or gaming laptops.
The unit can run a refrigerator for several hours during outages.
The solar charging setup supports up to 400W using two DC8020 inputs.
The 1000v2 can be effectively used for bedroom-friendly quiet operation.
USB-C charging can improve efficiency when powering compatible gaming laptops directly.
UPS pass-through behavior can degrade battery life depending on battery saver settings.
The solar DC8020 inputs feel very tight, which can make panel removal stressful.
Amazon returns are non-returnable, with returns accepted only if the unit is defective.
The unit cannot run 240V loads like well pumps or water heaters.

I recently bought the 1000v2 for convenience and partial redundancy as it can power some essentials like our fridge, freezer box, and furnace (while also being light enough for car camping). Can't run anything 240v (well pump, water heater, etc.), but for long outages we'll use our 7200W propane generator anyway.
Usually they buy pallets of returned goods from Amazon, then piece them out and flip them.

They could think they've found the answer but be mistaken. Asking someone on a discussion board can be a big help.
