This is a 4 line T Mobile Essentials promo that pairs four iPhone 17s with about $100 a month for 24 months, best for families willing to port in and keep all lines active. The strongest upside is the phone value, with no trade in required and Costco or Sam's Club sometimes adding activation fee waivers and gift cards. Taxes, fees, and device taxes still apply, and some orders hit down payments or higher first bills. Port in rules are strict, with prepaid, MVNO, recent T Mobile, and non qualifying numbers often rejected, so the fine print matters.

Common Questions (5)

  • Yes. The promo requires all 4 lines to be ported in; new lines alone do not qualify. Several comments also say T-Mobile treats prepaid T-Mobile/Mint/Metro-style numbers differently, so eligibility depends on the source carrier and port-in rules.

  • The advertised $100/month is before taxes, fees, and surcharges. Reported totals range from about $120 to $135/month depending on location, with examples including roughly $5 per line in taxes/fees and a $3.99 per-line recovery fee plus 911 and USF charges.

  • Not reliably. Keep & Switch and Family Freedom are separate pay-off programs, and the no-trade iPhone promo is often treated as a different offer; commenters were told the two may not stack, especially for existing-customer or winback situations.

  • No. The device credits are spread over 24 months, and paying off the phone or canceling a line early can stop the remaining credits. If you drop the 4th line, the remaining device balance still has to be paid and the promo can be re-evaluated.

  • It includes hotspot only in a very limited form: commenters describe unlimited 3G hotspot, with optional high-speed hotspot add-ons. The plan is also repeatedly described as deprioritized, so speeds can be slow when the network is busy.

Did you end up with all the gc's? Wondering how long that is available for.
Still waiting on gift cards, I think it will take 60-90 days to get them.

I see Verizon is making Tmobile sweat. Love how they forced a friend of mine to leave over a $90 plan to a $120 plan change (with no new phones) but now is trying to get people back with a better offer with phone included.
Verizon overall better coverage. Come with iPhone 17 Pro but 3 years instead 2 years on T-Mobile.

Exactly this, especially when:"Unlimited Deal — 3 Lines for $85/Month — Get three lines of Unlimited for $85/month, with a price that's locked in as long as you stay!"This magically DIDN'T stay "locked in as long as you stay" and turned into $110/mo for me when I had exactly that, had been with T-Mobile for like 12 years and had just had enough with the constant lies, along with all of the constant data breaches.Ironically I went to Mint Mobile, which is still T-Mobile really, and just pay the $15/mo unlimited with no bells and whistles, but since United Airlines is going to free Starlink (no need for the T-Mobile inflight WiFi bonus), and the cost savings per month make up way more than things like "Netflix on us", there was just no point anymore, and I'll deal with the deprioritized data which is a little annoying at times, but ultimately, my life isn't greatly affected by it.
Mint may use T-Mobile towers, but T-Mobile service has more towers as they have roaming agreements with competitors to offer coverage when tmo doesn't have towers. Also, when a tmo Tower is at capacity, guess who's calls get dropped first and data throttled....

I asked if they could issue this before the first bill, which will be around $300 for 4 lines, they said they can, it has been a week but no luck so far. Has anyone received their GC?

T-Mobile is finally coming back around. I hope they continue as they have the best coverage for an area that I frequent often.

I want to go for 4 lines for $100 and get iPhone 17 (on tmobile) but I only have 3 lines to port from Spectrum to Tmobile.. Either I do regular Essentials and get phones with Trade in and pay $90 (+ taxes) for 3 lines.. or I do this 4 for $100 (+ taxes) and get all 4 phones for free (no trade in). With the later one, I will have to pay $10 per month extra for the 4th line that I am never going to use (and I can still sell my existing iPhone 13's for some cash).. I am sitting on the fence for too long Frown.. somebody care to comment on this and help me see the bright side Smilie
