If you have nothing keeping you on (like bill credits), port out to Tello, then port back in. I've done this a couple times with good results.

Believe you would need to port out for 90 days and then come back as a new customer.

You can always wait for the Google Fi deal for unlimited at ~$12.50 if you port in four lines. $50 for four lines of unlimited everything, 50GB high speed prioritized, 25GB hotspot is crazy

General advice I see on the T-Mobile subreddit from employees is that T-Mobile can't tell the difference between a postpaid or prepaid number. Visible is usually the prepaid carrier I see the most data points on the T-Mobile subreddit that works for port-in promotions, with one example from 5 months ago here.Code: https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/...paid_port/ Ymmv, because I don't know if T-Mobile finally got their system in order to prevent this. You can try asking the T-Mobile subreddit for more info.

T-Mobile has 2 different incentives that will pay off your phones for you.
Keep & Switch [t-mobile.com] and Family Freedom [t-mobile.com].

https://www.t-mobile.com/support/...ly-freedom [t-mobile.com] (Family Freedom)
https://www.t-mobile.com/support/...and-switch [t-mobile.com] (Keep & Switch)

Keep & Switch allows you to keep your current phones, and Family Freedom requires you to trade in your old phones once T-Mobile pays them off for you. You would need to ask a T-Mobile employee whether either pay off incentive program can stack with the current no trade in required promo when you switch to T-Mobile.

Upfront: $35 activation fee per line. (Costco & Sams Club members can get this waived and even get some bonus prepaid/gift cards)
Sales tax on the MSRP of the phones.

Monthly: $100 w/AutoPay enabled + taxes & fees & surcharges [t-mobile.com].
Regulatory programs / Telco recovery fee: $3.99/line
State and Local Required 911 Surcharges
State and Local Taxes
Federal Universal Service Fund (USF)
Must have all 4 lines stay for 24 months to get all bill credits
Autopay requires debit or bank account
amazing explanation, thank you

Just ported from Verizon. I got 4 iphone 17s. No trade-in.
Only lavender and white colors were available when I placed my order. I got 4 whites.
$10 per line 'device connection fee'
Taxes on the device came out to $200 (virginia).
$240 pay now and $100 per month. (don't know about taxes on the monthly)
Essential plan : slow speed hotspot. slow speed US/Canada/Mexico. no international. no satellite connection (all can be added on as needed).
I also have 4 lines with Verizon. Do you know will this deal stack with Keep and Switch which is help to pay off the phone up to $800? TIA

No more partial payment by cc to still stay on autopay. I used to pay bill amount less $1 by cc and then let the autopay pickup the $1 from my t-life money account. It looks like whole bill has to come from the checking account to be eligible for autopay discount.

Exactly this, especially when:

"Unlimited Deal — 3 Lines for $85/Month — Get three lines of Unlimited for $85/month, with a price that's locked in as long as you stay!"

This magically DIDN'T stay "locked in as long as you stay" and turned into $110/mo for me when I had exactly that, had been with T-Mobile for like 12 years and had just had enough with the constant lies, along with all of the constant data breaches.

Ironically I went to Mint Mobile, which is still T-Mobile really, and just pay the $15/mo unlimited with no bells and whistles, but since United Airlines is going to free Starlink (no need for the T-Mobile inflight WiFi bonus), and the cost savings per month make up way more than things like "Netflix on us", there was just no point anymore, and I'll deal with the deprioritized data which is a little annoying at times, but ultimately, my life isn't greatly affected by it.
I might be changing to Mint, thanks for the info.

Do we have any recent Data points from current T-Mobile customers who did a quick switch to Visible or Tello to port back as new customers?
1 user said we have to wait 90days as recent T-Mobile customers so I'm wary in attempting this but also don't want to lose out on the deal. If there's any recent success stories elsewhere such as reddit, please let us know!
They keep a record of the numbers you port out.

do you know if you can use keep and switch with this promotion?
Normally when customers want T-Mobile to pay off their phones and to participate in new customer phone promotions, it's through Family Freedom [t-mobile.com]. Previous new customer phone promos required a phone trade-in. The current deal doesn't, so you would need to ask a T-Mobile employee whether you can pair the two deals together with no trade-in. Keep and Switch, if I remember correctly, doesn't work with new customer phone promos.

I must go to Sams Club to purchase this to have activation waived?
T-Mobile sometimes waive activation fees around Black Friday/Cyber Monday. Otherwise, ordering through Costco or Sams Club will waive the activation fees.

Can I opt in this promotion at Costco to bundle the 400 GC?
You would need to ask the T-Mobile employee at Costco, but, based on the Costco website, the $400 offer requires activation on the Experience Beyond [costco.com] plan. You should be able to get 4x $75 Costco GC when activating 4 lines.

How to get the four iphone 17s and 4 lines for 100 bucks - I have two lines at xfinity ,how can i get this promo ? Should i move those two lines to Tmobile and add two new lines to get the promo or create two more xfinity lines and than move all 4 to Tmobile for this promo ? Hearing mixed opinions on it at costco as initially rep mentioned i can simply migrate two lines and get the promo but later talked to his boss and mentioned i wont be qualified for free cellphones on two new lines that i would be adding instead i should trade in to get the iphone 17s on remaining two lines ?

just call 311, say CANCEL, someone picks up, I want to CANCEL. why? I am getting ripped off on my plan and bill but there is 4 lines for $100 promo that I will switch to and not cancel and it comes with 4 free iphone 17pro max. The rep may either switch you to this plan and send you 4 free 17 pro max worth $1600 each or maybe just may tell you they Can't switch your plan to this but will send you 4 free 17 pro max worth $6400.
