If you have nothing keeping you on (like bill credits), port out to Tello, then port back in. I've done this a couple times with good results.

Believe you would need to port out for 90 days and then come back as a new customer.

You can always wait for the Google Fi deal for unlimited at ~$12.50 if you port in four lines. $50 for four lines of unlimited everything, 50GB high speed prioritized, 25GB hotspot is crazy

How long does one have to be on Tello before porting back to T-Mobile?

when i stopped at costco, they gave me a phone number to call for $100/4 lines deal, although i showed him a clear sign on TV , they no longer gives the $100 plan/4, but instead he offered me $170 per 4 lines. i believe they are crooked
TMO at Costco is full of shit. They tried to sell me a phone that I don't want. When I rejected, they came up with the excuse that only AT&T, Verizon, etc can port. I told them I am porting from Cricket, which is AT&T. The next excuse, well.. you can but you may not get the discount. I am hoping TMO waived the activation fee next week as I don't want to pay $140 for activation fee for four phones.

The add says Eligible port-in AT&T, Verizon, Claro, UScellular, Xfinity, Spectrum, and Liberty PR Only. I am trying to port 3 lines from cricket and adding 4th line. I think we need to port to TracFone (shows as Verizon in T-Mobile's system) then port to T-Mobile. Can you advise if the T-Mobile rep saw cricket as AT&T? Thanks

Just a heads up, essentials plan is really bad. They deprioritize you just like prepaid and they offer no hotspot sharing at all. You're better off going with us mobile $25 plan and getting the phone directly from Apple. You'll still save money.
Curious - if you need four lines at $25 each, how would US Mobile save you money since you still need to buy the phones?

Yea I've been with them about that long also. I went to Verizon website out of curiosity and this is what I came up with- 5 new phones: 2 iPhone 17s and 3 Galaxy S25s for $166/mo. That's only $10/mo more than what I'm paying now!
Wow that's not too shabby. Great username, by the way!

Did you do this at a warehouse or call the call the 1-833 line?I couldn't find in the terms that they'd waive the $35/line activation fee, thank you! I also don't see where its $150/line, but the website does show "Get $75 when you activate a new line".
We also checked at our local Costco, they are giving $75 GC per line.

Just went to Sam's Club and the rep there said US Mobile port wouldn't qualify for this offer. If anyone finds out differently, please post.

I finally ordered over the phone. Agent said I will be charged $100+tax per month only. It remains to be seen what I actually get charged on the month basis. They sent agreement that says phone cost on monthly basis but agent said do not worry, it will be fine and system is like that. I guess there is not sure way of knowing anything here and may have to trust to an extent what they say and try it. If anything does not work the way they are promising, it will be a new task to deal with.

I am on VZW for 15 years on a family plan 4 lines, this is interesting. Verizon got rid of my loyalty discounts. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with them to reinstate them, they told me they would grant them back for another 12 months, checked my next bill and nothing. Chasing them down to lower my bill is getting tiring. Might jump to TMo.

How does this stack with the Work perks through employer benefits? https://www.t-mobile.com/offers/e...-discounts and what happens if one or 2 family members wants an Experience More plan instead of just the Essentials, can you do that for some of the family plan and if so how much does the bill go up monthly?

Thanks! I'm a huge Queensryche fan. I went ahead and switched. In the end it basically cost me the taxes on the 5 phones which I'm OK with. I'm to the point where phone companies are like auto insurance, so in a couple of years I'll start shopping around to see who'll give me the next good deal. The one bad thing was we had just gotten two free Pixel 10s from T-Mobile so I have to pay those off, but they did give me $350 for each to help pay them.

I have 4 Verizon lines. 3 are iphone 14 and 1 is Samsung s23. If I port them to TMO at Costco what I am getting extra as compare to porting at a TMO store. Do TMO also paid my current phones which I am still paying off to Verizon.
