If you have nothing keeping you on (like bill credits), port out to Tello, then port back in. I've done this a couple times with good results.

Believe you would need to port out for 90 days and then come back as a new customer.

You can always wait for the Google Fi deal for unlimited at ~$12.50 if you port in four lines. $50 for four lines of unlimited everything, 50GB high speed prioritized, 25GB hotspot is crazy

Is it worth waiting for deals on grandfathered plans(simple choice) to upgrade to iPhone 17? Or port out and port back in to get these?

I don't think so. They don't give deals for existing customers. I have been waiting from last year for the upgrade, however no luck.

Ported my Visible lines to Spectrum ($20 activation + $30 unlimited per line) and then to T-mobile today at Costco and the phones will be shiped in the first week of December due to backorder. Could not find the cheaper option that Costco Tmobile will accept.
Hey, quick question about your move from Visible → Spectrum → T‑Mobile at Costco for the 4 iPhone 17 / 4 lines deal.
Did you manage to do everything in a single day, or did it take longer (for example, waiting for Spectrum lines to fully activate)?
Could you please share the exact steps you took (online vs in‑store, eSIM/physical SIM, timing between ports) and any tips or gotchas to make sure the T‑Mobile promo at Costco actually applies and doesn't get denied?

Unfortunately, Costco wouldn't let me port my Tello prepaid lines, so I reached out through T-Mobile's messaging support instead. The person I chatted with did not even ask which company of my prepaid lines, and setup 4 iphone and asked me to pay the tax and activation fees (199.20 in taxes, and 40 activation fees). He was so eager to help that I was a little suspicious. Any other people has similar experience?

They could always deny your bill credits in a couple of months because you didn't meet terms of agreement. That won't stop them from signing you up.

That's exactly the part that makes me hesitant.

These deals are usually very shady and T-Mobile will look for all possible reasons to get your promo off your account like if you add a 5th line with whatever pricing is for the 5th line but incase if you cancel the 5th line down the lane for any reason, you might loose $100 for 4 lines promo. I used to be with T-Mobile and this happened to me personally about 4-5 years ago(may be T-Mobile got better in recent days but you never know)

Tello is owned by T-Mobile. Don't know anything about this deal, but some other times carries don't allow subsidiaries count. I know my brother could not get this deal using metro pcs

Use the "wrong" phones on a 5 line family plan that had all five devices ship on the same day.
Four months later "we're sorry, you did not meet the eligibility requirements for your promotional offer and will need to pay the remaining balance immediately".
Really have to look at the packing slip and be like "ok, phone XYZ is associated with phone number ABC, phone UVW with number DEF...."
They got me with that.

Can I opt in this promotion at Costco to bundle the 400 GC?

I did the t mobile deal at Costco. Benefits that activation cost of $35 per line is waivered but you only qualify for $75 per line gc. This covered taxes on the phones so everything was pretty much free (in CA)

They only offer phone deals on the more expensive monthly plans so it doesn't make sense. You have to leave carriers

Do you know if you can choose different phones with extra pay? Like if I want 3 x Samsung: S25, S25+, S25 Ultra and just one iPhone 17 Pro? Or only regular iPhone 17/S25?

This is exactly what I want to know. I'm planning on getting in on this offer but interested in 3 iPhones and a Pixel 10 Pro XL.
