Which plan did you sign up for and did you port or trade in? I was told only the Experience beyond plan is eligible for $450 GC and that plan is way over priced without a significant difference from Essentials ($75 GC even if you port in), Thanks,

YMMV but I found the price to be misleading. Credit score of ~840, no previous TMobile account, no negative credit payments/ratings. Once going through the process and doing the credit check, I get an increase in cost of 79.99 per device for a down payment. Now monthly cost for the line decreased in line with the increase in cost but if you're expecting to get out of the door for ~350 that might now be the case, my out of the door jumped to just under 700 once everything was said and done. Spent a few hours with customer support chat and they kept saying the 79.99 per line was taxes but it's very clearly a down payment. Does it make the deal bad? No. Could it matter to you? Yes. Not sure you can do much better on credit history so if that doesn't qualify for 0.00 per phone nothing will.

I spent over 12 hours working to get Verizon to "beat their competitor." It was hellish.

When I called T-Mobile and told them my story and that I had ported out my numbers the rep was super nice. (I think I said, "customer retention" to the phone prompt.) Anyway, I went in to my local T-Mobile and told them I was a "win back" customer.

Now, to the point: We got three iPhone 17 Pro Max's and had the $890.00ish credited on each of the three. Our bill is now $168.00ish a month. I've already received a PDF of that bill, and everything looks correct. I would highly recommend this deal (minus the 12 hours wasted in Verizon "training" the new customer rep) to anyone who can get it. Oh, and I still have all three of the phones I started with (iPhone 13, 15, and 15) and only had to pay a $10.00 setup fee.

Hope this helps! It was definitely worth it. Also, if you're even considering getting insurance coverage go with Allstate or another reputable company. If our 14 year old even comes close to cracking the screen he will be paying the deductible, and we will use Apple for the repairs.

Why only three? My wife doesn't like the bigger phones and was perfectly satisfied with her iPhone 14.

I write the way I preach: Way too much information.
I am thinking of moving a family plan of 4 over to TMobile, coming from Verizon as well.

Do you know if TMobile will pay off any existing phones that are still being paid for on Verizon. We have 2 lines on those dumb payment plans where if you payoff early you lose out on the discounted price. Do you know if TMo will cover that and also give a new phone or is one or the other?

You can always wait for the Google Fi deal for unlimited at ~$12.50 if you port in four lines. $50 for four lines of unlimited everything, 50GB high speed prioritized, 25GB hotspot is crazy
But you don't get new phones!!

No. I'm afraid I don't know. One thing I would suggest though is to call and speak with a rep. They're much more friendly than the reps in the store. At least that has been my experience.

I'm in the same boat with Xfinity, I already have two lines fully paid and I can add two more. The problem is I don't have spare devices to activate the new eSIM lines. I was wondering if it's possible to use a friend's device/IMEI for the setup without affecting their service. I'm do not want to disrupt friends current service. I'm just unsure how activation works in this situation. Anyone know how to activate? Thanks
same situation, won't work unless you have spare phone on xfinity to add an extra line. This deal is actually dumb; I want to move my 3 lines and want the 4th one for my 12-year-old now yet I can't because currently only have 3 lines as I have not needed a 4th until now.

I've been with Xfinity mobile for years, but the data plans are getting more and more expensive, and there haven't been any phone upgrade discounts in the last two years. I'm thinking of trying something else.
Which is more cost-effective, Xfinity or Verizon?
Also, why do some people sign up at Costco?
Is there any difference?
Thanks!

Just tried to buy on TMobile site. It added $79.99 per phone, which is bs even though credit score is 800 and never had T-Mobile.
