This is a 4 line T Mobile Essentials promo that pairs four iPhone 17s with about $100 a month for 24 months, best for families willing to port in and keep all lines active. The strongest upside is the phone value, with no trade in required and Costco or Sam's Club sometimes adding activation fee waivers and gift cards. Taxes, fees, and device taxes still apply, and some orders hit down payments or higher first bills. Port in rules are strict, with prepaid, MVNO, recent T Mobile, and non qualifying numbers often rejected, so the fine print matters.

Literally just left t mobile cuz they wouldn't give me a good deal on an upgrade. 15 year customer, went to Verizon and couldn't be happier
Glad to see this. Assumed it was me because I'm on an ancient plan, but they absolutely refuse to work with you. I've been with them at least 15 years, but I think Verizon is the way to go.

But you're locked for 3 years instead of 2 years with T-Mobile

I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Clearly don't change my phone often. After 3 years I can shop again for the best deal. Like many have mentioned here, T-Mobile seems apathetic about customer loyalty.

YMMV, I ordered Verizon on the $100 deal yesterday and Tmobile retention offered a match with iPhone 17 Pro's when I went asking for porting PIN's, but with trade-in's + sales tax, trade in's were iPhone 13 pro's. I was allowed to keep my ancient 15 years old plan that has hotspots and international roaming in 200+ countries + turns out I had a free line as one of the promotions on my plan so that covers another family member now forever. my goal of posting is there are good reps out there who are empathetic and work with you to retain you but I understand it could be a hit or a miss. Above also gets me off the hook after 24 months with 5 lines that are apprx $24 a line + taxes. So all in all did I pay a little more if you factor in trade in value but bought my piece of mind with that knowing that I am not a part of some new fine print by Verizon after 36 months.

Thanks for the explanation. Did you contact them via phone, chat, or in store? You're right, giving them another shot costs nothing.

Good deal, but Verizon is offering a better one. Switching with 6 lines on my account - T-Mobile only offers 4 phones, but Verizon offered all 6. Cost wise from a dataplan persepective almost the same - definitely both of them much cheaper than AT&T.

You can always wait for the Google Fi deal for unlimited at ~$12.50 if you port in four lines. $50 for four lines of unlimited everything, 50GB high speed prioritized, 25GB hotspot is crazy
Can you help provide link to this offer?

Told tmobile i wanted my pin i was gonna port out and get the verizon deal currently had 8 lines for $280 all included
on a old grandfathered in plan been there for 20 years or so
told them give me 4 iphones 17promax and keep it at the same price they were very nice workin on it for me at the end wanted trade ins i told them no that i will go to verizon and port out then we agreed to give them my least desirable phones two 2022 motorolla edges one iphone 14 and one samsung a54 cracked screen and they would give me full credit on those phones trade in value of think it was $830 each altho they only appraised at like $900 total for all phones trade in value
not super great but traded in 4 mid teir phones got 4 top line latest iphones (i refuse to use crapple myself lol) but cool holiday presents for the kids and my phone bill stayed the same as it was did this last night picking phones up at store tomorrow ohh i did pay almost $500 taxes and fees out of pocket tho and i will be tied to tmobile for 2 year but better than 3 years for verizon i guess
You know that T-Mobile locks your iPhone for 24 months while Verizon automatically unlocks after 60 days of activation. Also no trade in whatsoever with Verizon. But you lose Netflix free. So you weigh in these when comparing 24 vs 36 and make choice that you value more

Please be aware that T-Mobile will keep your phone locked for 24 months (if that matters)

Verizon plan also does NOT include hotspot. You have to pay $10/line if you want hotspot. T-Mobile includes it in theirs at no extra charge. Just noting as you all decide.
