"Lead-free / cadmium-free" claims are only as good as the testing behind them. The manufacturer says the pieces are non-toxic, but I did not find a third-party lab report publicly available (at least in my search) verifying the exact levels of heavy metals for that specific set.
Using microwave or oven might be safe if the bowl is not damaged (no cracks, chips, crazing). If the glaze is worn or hair-cracked, then safety could degrade.
Even quality porcelain can chip, and a chipped glaze could expose underlying material or lead to moisture absorption which may foster bacterial growth or absorption of food flavour.
The style is bold and bohemian — if you're using with kids (you mentioned age 9 & 13) you'll want to check the weight, size, stability (i.e., tip-risk) and whether it's suitable for younger hands.
"Oven safe" is claimed but ovens vary, and rapid temperature changes (e.g., frozen to hot) can cause ceramic damage. Make sure you follow manufacturer's guidance for transitions.
The bowl you linked (28 oz size you said) may be larger than what the listing details I found show (some say 26 oz). Always check the exact size/finish you are buying — sometimes third-party sellers or variants differ.
