Feels like they should have just made this free if you're also forcing a 36 month plan on it. From reading, these can only be really used w/Verizon's Gizmo app, else it's just a fake smartwatch that would match the likes of a basic $20 one.

To charge anything for this is kinda petty

I have been this watch for kid for the past 6 months. Pleased with watch features and meet the expectations for what parent need. However monthly cost is expensive, approx $15 which is same as most of the monthly plan cost.
