I managed to get a open box fair condition, and it was basically brand new. It came with the original box and everything. Got it for $1,843 from its original price and not to mention it has a 5080 for future proofing laptops. The only thing I wished was that it had an oled panel but when I saw it in store, not having one didnt bother me at all due to the nebula display

Just picked it up for this price. I've been reading some issues with the liquid metal pooling AWAY from the CPU. I'm new to these things. How much of an issue is this? Such a beast of a machine

It's a beast, just make sure you get the cooling pad like the Llano or Razer and its covered by warranty.
