Actually a good package - compact gaming machine that also has long battery life in office work. Anything wrong here?
This is the best gaming laptop available for the price point IMO. It's the mid range Lenovo laptop with better cooling than other brands' flagships. It's especially impressive for the compact form factor.
That said, this went as low as $950 at Walmart a month or two ago, and I saw one at Microcenter for $900 with 5% off store wide coupon = $855 + tax out the door. With Black Friday around the corner, it is more likely than not to revisit those prices. But if you Need one today, this is a solid laptop for the price.

even right now it is $999 at walmart. I mean it looks very compelling..
when i look at the spec at BB, it say No external display connection, but under section "Specs" and then Connectivity Tab, it show DisplayPort Over USB-C. Also it shows 1 Thunderbolt Port. I thought that Thunderbolt port is only for Intel CPUs models.
it shows Sold and shipped by antonline.com. I am not sure if Walmart extended holiday returns applies to 3rd parties.
I believe it applies to most, as I did it last year with a GPU return to a 3rd party seller.
But, here's what I got when I asked AI:
"Walmart's extended holiday return window does apply to most Marketplace (3rd‑party) sellers, but participation can vary by product category and seller. You should always check the item's specific return policy, because some categories (like electronics, appliances, phones, food, and luxury goods) may have shorter or stricter rules."
TLDR, check the return policy for the specific 3rd party item listing.

The MC one you're referring to is without the OLED display.

And has been $949 once, before that. This is not a deal.

OLED is the gold standard in laptop displays now, not only for picture quality but also battery life - esp w dark mode enabled.
Def worth the modest price difference IMO.
