Would bite if these were two 6.0 HO batteries, but this deal isn't quite sweet enough as-is for me to bite on a tool I don't really NEED. Eyes on the router or jigsaw, but I've already got wired versions of both.

The Milwaukee router is fantastic. I too have a wired plunge base router and an older trim router. I use the Milwaukee router 99% of the time. I prefer the 5ah batteries for the router as its more balanced. Overall, this is a great deal. Just sharing in case you end up needing a replacement before the deal ends.

Awesome, thanks! I've been needing a router to finish a few things in the basement and have had my eye on this one for a while. Seems like a really good buy especially with two batteries! 🙏

M18 are pretty great and considerably more powerful than the m12 packs and tools. I've been using them for years. Do you like the Dewalt 20v tools better?

Milwaukee is better than DeWalt.

I have used DeWalt for 20 years, most tools are still running strong. But the past few years I have gotten a few M18/M12 tools and they are a very nice step up in quality. Can't go wrong with either but Milwaukee is definitely a nicer tool.

You just have to be mindful about which tools you are getting. A lot of the lower/basic versions of a respective M18 tool is just that, but the upper model ones are quite good. They certainly aren't the only brand that does this. Just Milwaukee doesn't distinguish them as much creating whole separate lines like others.
