I got the G91SD when it was this price at Costco back in July. Love it!

Yes. Samsung.com with EPP same as this.
I ordered it for $650. Just chatted with a customer service rep and said I was deliberating the purchase and she quickly set me up with a promo code for an additional $50 off. (Additional tip would be to sign up for a certain R cash back site for $50 on first purchase)... so basically the same price as posted above... yay!

Received mine today. Clearly used and no film on the screen. Screen had friction marks from shipping. I'm returning it. Also, I don't know how anyone could use this for work with everything all stretched out. Maybe I need a fancy graphics card or something. Not a fun experience jumping through chat hoops to get them to send me a return label

Waiting for this to be OLED on a couple years
There was a 49 inch oled (g91sd I believe) in Costco for $600, I picked up 2. It was an insane deal, never seen anything since

Anyone use this with a MacBook Pro? I read some reviews that 5120x1440 is not supported on Mac OS.
I got a m4pro and a g91sd and that works perfectly fine

I bought it in the VA panel not OLED even tho my work employee pricing was the same for the 49" OLED and the VA. I went with VA because I do a lot of desktop work, leave my screen on the browser all day and it will burn in, also words are clearer on VA panels, reading is easier on the eyes. and OLED has problems with pixels burning out on these ultrawides, also there is other problems if you use windows, just google it. OLED is not ready to be a desktop monitor yet if you're using it for anything other than movies and if you're using it for movies might as well just get a high end projector at that point. IMO the OLED monitors are a fad. it will be replaced just like CRT was.

Thanks for the write up. Reading this got me over the edge to jump on this. Was torn between this and the OLED version.

I have an OLED TV, but didn't think they got better than that. I'd love to be proven wrong. Do you have a recommendation on a high end projector?

OLED is great for TV's or if you're going to be using the computer for movies a lot like I said, but i think for general use I will always take a high end VA panel over the oled. especially for desktop use, It's so comfortable reading text on it, very crisp and clear. im using it right now actually. It's my favorite monitor I've ever owned. works great for gaming too but I mostly use it for desktop / chrome.

I'm not sure about projectors I have an older one that is a RGB color wheel optoma 1080p from 2019 or something, i might replace it soon tho!

They got oled version, problem with Samsung oled monitors they burn in much faster than any other manufacturers. I had two models, both ended up 8-14 months and burn in begin. Samsung warranty service is trash. Ended up disputing to CC and shipped back the monitors to Samsung. Panels aren't replaceable due to being highly curved models and more expensive to replace the panel than the monitor itself according to Samsung. You also pay out of pocket even tho its under warranty for travel charges etc. this is why they extended their OLED monitor warranties to 2-3 years but still. You want OLED, go with LG, they don't burn in easy.
